At the foot of the new Pattullo Bridge construction site on King George Boulevard in Surrey, can be seen are newly erected 6 rail terminal gantries. Our crew assembled these 25-feet tall gantries in record 3-days on site and craned them into place to be installed onto concrete pads, each measuring 6' x 10'.
These gantries are for offloading fuel from railcar tankers onto transport trucks and we were excited to complete this unique project for multi-national Greenergy, which supplies and distributes transportation fuels and waste-based renewables in Canada, the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, India, Australia and the USA.
With a successful completion of this project, we are looking forward to building many more rail terminal gantry concrete pads in Western Canada.
